Occupational Training Visa: These are granted specifically for the student to undertake an internship within their area of study. This visa requires the internship host company to sponsor the intern before arriving in Australia. The intern will need to submit documents to show how the internship relates to his/her studies, proof of medical and public liability insurance and the completed application form. Cultural Cube can handle the whole application process for you whether you are in Australia or overseas. This visa is great for interns who are required to do an internship as part of their studies. This visa can be applied for both in Australia and abroad.

416 Special Program Visa: The visa allows the students to do an internship for any length of time (max 12 months). Cultural Cube's Australian Partner is authorised by DIMIA to issue a letter of invitation for obtaining this visa. This visa is normally issued for the length of the internship + 1 month. It can be issued for a maximum of 12 months. Interns are also able to get paid by the host company. Interns are also allowed to study for a maximum of 20% of the length of the visa. This visa is particularly great for interns looking to combine their internship with a short refresher English course prior the internship. All 416 visa applicants must have Travel and Medical insurance. Applicants may be asked to provide evidence of the insurance at the time of applying for the visa or when arriving in Australia.
