When you arrive in your host city you will be met and driven you to your apartment. A member of staff will be there to answer questions and help you get settled in. You will be given an in-depth briefing of the things you need to know so that you will be ready for your Internship. In the morning you will travel to your Internship with other Interns where you will be greeted by your host company who will help you get started with your first assignment.

Among the Interns there are designated drivers who will take other Interns to run errands. This is not an on-demand service so you will have to work like a team and plan in advance and let others know when you have to go somewhere.

Shortly after your arrival you will be given a list of cultural events and seminars that you can take part in during your Internship. Many of these will be programmes offered will deal with topics we believe are relevant and meaningful to your learning experience. These programmes will be free of charge and we encourage you to take part in them. In addition, there will be trips to Museums, exhibits, plays and other events we believe you would enjoy. For these there may be admission costs. For many of these we will provide the transportation, and attempt to purchase tickets at reduced rates on your behalf. These programmes will be totally optional.

Our US Partner works on a contract basis and has defined clients that are interested in providing internships for students like you. They assist them in developing positions that interns can fill to gain experience in defined fields of study. As part of this process they make sure that the work you will be doing is meaningful. This is not to say that you can be expected to do some boring jobs, but the main thrust will be to give you assignments that will allow you to learn and experience your field of study.

As an international student far from your home, familiar surroundings and practices, our "managed program" provides you with the knowledge and comfort of knowing that you have an organisation behind you to assist you with every phase of your programme.

You may register your application at anytime, but you should be aware that finding a suitable Internship can take months rather than weeks. We can accept applications for an Internship that you require to undertake up to 18 months into the future.
Applications must be made at least 10 weeks before you wish to start your Internship. Under exceptional circumstances we can accept applications within 6 weeks of intended arrival, at a non-refundable, 'Late Application Fee' of USD200.

The sooner that you apply - the greater the chance that you will be offered a suitable Internship.
